Required Water Savings as per LEED Criteria
Water, one of nature’s most valuable resources, requires careful management. To ease the strain on city water networks and wastewater systems, it’s essential to reduce indoor water consumption in buildings. According to LEED guidelines, basis consumption at indoor sinks and fixtures (faucets) must achieve a minimum 20% reduction in total water usage. The use of water-saving products in faucets and shower fixtures is mandatory to meet this goal.
